I’m delighted to be taking part in Artmap Argyll Open Studios 2026, which runs from Friday 21 August to Monday 31 August 2026.

Artmap Argyll is a wonderful opportunity to explore the creative landscape of Argyll, visit artists in their own studios and exhibition spaces, and discover the wide range of work being made across the region. This year marks the 19th annual Artmap Argyll Open Studios trail, bringing together artists, makers and visitors from across Argyll and beyond.

As part of the event, I’ll be opening my studio near Kilchrenan, by Loch Awe, where visitors can see my felted landscape work, learn more about my process, and view original pieces inspired by the shifting light, colours and textures of the West Highland landscape.

My work is created using natural fibres, layered colour and traditional felting techniques. I’m especially drawn to the atmosphere of the landscape around me — lochs, hills, woodland, changing weather, reflections, paths, shorelines and the quiet details that often stay with you after time spent outdoors.

During Open Studios, visitors will be able to see original felted landscapes, works in progress, cards and prints, and I’ll be happy to talk through the materials and techniques behind the pieces.

Whether you are already familiar with my work or are discovering it for the first time, I’d be very pleased to welcome you during the event. Artmap is a lovely way to explore Argyll, meet artists, and experience the places that inspire the work directly.

I look forward to seeing you in August.
